When managing your software licenses you gain control by having them registered and managed in Velory. In this article we’ll explain how you add software one by one.

Add Software
- Go to Asset management in the navigation bar
- Click Software
- Click on Add Software
You search for and select the software from the dropdown list, can’t find the software you’re looking for? No worries — just reach out to Velory Support (support@velory.com) and we’ll help you get it added so you can continue.
Once the software is added together with an admin, it will automatically appear in the Software overview.
Click on the software name — or the arrow on the right-hand side of the newly added row — to open the software detail page.

To start using the software, you’ll need to add one or more plans. You do this from the Software detail page.
Plan details
When adding a plan, the following fields are required:
Plan name (required)
Plan type (required) — choose between:
- Free
- One-time payment
- Subscription
The fields shown will automatically adjust based on the plan type you select.
Once the plan is saved, you can either:
- Add more plans, or
- Move on to assigning users
You can update or change plans at any time, you can also delete them from this view if needed. When deleting a plan though, it first needs to be cleared from all licenses.
Assign licenses to software
- Go to the Licenses tab
- Click Add licence
You’ll see a list of all users and spaces in your company. Simply:
- Select the users you want to assign
- Choose which plan each user should have
When you’re done, click Assign.
The Plans tab will now show updated information about:
- Number of users
- Total cost per plan
