There may be situations where you’ve initially chosen to return a device but later decide you’d rather buy it out or keep it (depending on what options your company allows). In these cases, you can re-enable the end-of-lifecycle choices and make a new selection.

💡 Note:
- If you’ve already completed a buyout, the device is considered paid for and the option cannot be changed.
- If the Keep option has been selected, the renewal period is automatically updated as soon as the button is clicked. Therefore, it’s not possible to change this choice directly. However, an admin can manually adjust the renewal period if needed to allow a new selection.
How to re-enable your choices
- Go to the device where you previously selected Return.
- Open the Lifecycle tab.
- You’ll see a message and an option to change your choice — click Edit your choice.
The device will now be updated with the available options again, and you can make a new selection.
👉 Remember: you can only change your choice if you originally selected Return.
