Each product category in your budget has a set renewal period. That period determines when you can replace your current device with a new one.
As your renewal date approaches, you’ll be able to take action on your device 30 days in advance. You’ll need to complete this step in order to order a new device within that category.
What options will I have?
The available options depend on things like:
- How the device was purchased (e.g., one-off or leased)
- Who owns the device
- Whether it’s under a financing agreement
- Your company’s internal settings
But in general, there are three possible paths:

💡 If the device is managed by a distributor other than Dustin – for example Atea, Elisa, or someone else – then this process applies, no matter what the contract type says.
