In the store, admins and employees can request and buy products in a simple and structured way. The store works like any online store, with the difference that all purchases are automatically linked to your Asset Management and you have the possibility to create budgets to simplify purchases. Introduction to how the store works
The products displayed in the store are the ones that are currently available for your company. To decide the products showcased, you can talk with your partner account manager. As an admin, you can make purchases from the store for your company's behalf and if your billing plan includes the employee experience add-on, your employees can independently use the store for requesting new products.
If your company has budgets and you've been assigned one (visible under Your Details and Budget), you can view the purchasing budget for various categories.
Different payment options
The store offers various payment options set by your partner. You can decide to pay the entire amount upfront as a single payment or lease the device through financing. Limited visible options indicate your Velory partner's chosen available payment methods and your allocated budget.
Monthly cost
The monthly cost available in the store when ordering hardware is when hardware are available for lease. The financing period is usually 24 or 36 months. You can read more in the article about financing hardware.
One-off cost
The full amount of the device is paid up front as a one-off cost. The device is from the start a possession of the company.
Troubleshooting
There are a few company settings that an admin are able to adjust for your company that affects the store, see examples below:

If you have difficulties placing an order for a product, it could be due to your company restricting purchases within the budget. Limited purchases makes that employees can only request a specific number of products within a category, based on the renewal period. For example, if the Computer category's budget is set with limited purchases at 1, employees with this budget can only request 1 Computer during the specified renewal period—set for 36 months in this case. You can view the purchase count in your budget overview under Your Details.
- If you're unable to view certain categories or products that others in your company can see, it's possible that your company has enabled a feature filtering the store by budget category. For example, if you're assigned to a budget containing the Phones category with this function activated, only Phones will be visible in the store. Admins, however, will always have visibility of all products in the store.
