Integrations are exclusively accessible within the Lifecycle/Starter billing plan.
Enhance Velory's security and convenience by enabling your employees to log in using Single Sign-On (SSO). Once configured, both you and your users can opt to log in through the chosen SSO service or use login credentials (username/password) for access. After configuring SSO, you can choose to disable email/password login. Learn more about this option here.
How to enable SSO
- To access the integration section in company settings, you might need to upgrade your current billing plan first. Refer to this article for detailed information about billing plans before enabling SSO.
- If you are on the right billing plan - Go to your profile in the navigation bar and click on Settings.
- Under the section integrations, click on SSO.
- In the dropdown list you will be able to see the available SSO provider that we have available. If your SSO provider isn't listed, reach out to Velory support, and we'll explore adding your specific provider.
- After you click on the provider you want to enable you click on Configure via Velory and you will be directed to a checklist that provides precise written instructions and a step-by-step guide on configuring your Velory account with that specific provider.
- Every step in the setup process must be finalized for the configuration to operate effectively. Upon completion, you'll encounter specific fields requesting accurate details obtained from the setup steps. Once all the required information is filled in under Authentication Details, simply click Save changes to proceed.
- It’s a good idea to test the SSO login on your own account after setting it up. This way, you can make sure everything’s working properly before inviting others to join.
Once you've activated SSO sign-in, the Velory login page will be updated so that users can sign in with the SSO provider directly.
Enable email/password login option
When you've set up your SSO provider, you'll see a setting called Enable email/password login option below your active integration.
By default, this setting is enabled, allowing users to log in using either SSO or email/password on Velory's login page.
If the setting is disabled, the only login option will be through SSO.
