What Multiple Retailers means
With Multiple Retailers, company admins can connect several retailers to their Velory account. This allows you to:
- Select which retailers you want to source products from.
- Decide which products from each retailer should be available in your store.
Example: You can source computers from Dustin, phones from ServeYou, and mobile subscriptions from a third supplier.
Benefits of the feature
-
Flexibility – Add your currently used suppliers and add new as desired. No need to change your supplier setup.
-
Ready to grow – Easily add or switch retailers as your business evolves, without disrupting your store setup.
How to add a retailer
-
Enable the feature
This feature needs to be activated by your partner.
If you are on a Pro plan, please contact Velory support — and we assist in enabling the setting in your account before you can add retailers in Velory.
For partners, there is a separate article with instructions on how to make themselves visible in the Reseller view. Read it here.
-
Add a retailer
- When the above step is completed, Go to Settings → Retailers.
- Click Browse all retailers and then Connect to add a retailer.
- Once connected, the retailer must create an offer for your organization and assign products manually to your account
👉 Note: No automatic notification is sent in this action. You need to contact the retailer directly to set up the agreement and decide on the assortment!
- When the above step is completed, Go to Settings → Retailers.
Manage products in your store
When offers have been created, and the retailer has assigned products to your account they will appear in your Edit store view.
- Under the Available tab, you will see all products offered by selected retailers. You can move them to the Added tab to make them visible in your store.
- If more than one retailer offers the same product, a dropdown menu lets you choose which retailer to use.
Good to know
- Notifications: Company admins receive daily email summaries (if changes have occurred) and product labels in the Edit store view such as "New product," "Out of stock," or "Price change".
An example of such an email can look like this;
This email can be turned on / off by the admin from the Retailers section in settings.
- Orders and deliveries: Orders are sent directly to the selected retailer for processing. Since each retailer handles their own deliveries, products will arrive in separate packages.
