You can enable card payments in Velory to allow employees to pay for hardware buyouts during End of Lifecycle flows and or budget overages. To offer this feature, your company must first connect your Velory account to Stripe.
When to use Stripe
Card payments can be used in the following scenarios:
- Budget overage payments (if supported by your retailer)
- One-off device buyouts
- Leased device buyouts (if you lease your equipment, and buyouts are supported by your leasing company)
Step 1: Connect your Stripe account
In order to add your Stripe account to Velory, you need to contact our support team to get help with adding your Stripe keys to Velory. You will need to connect a Stripe API key for each payment use case you want to use.
How to get your Stripe API Keys
To connect Stripe, you'll need a Stripe account and access to your API keys. Use the links below to get started:

When you have your Stripe API keys added, it’s time to enable card payment in the platform.
