Once connected, Velory will begin fetching device data. This initial sync may take up to 2 minutes, and from then on, devices will be automatically synced every night.
How the integration works
After a successful connection with Google MDM, Velory provides a dedicated dashboard where you can view detailed insights, such as:
- Connected (enrolled) devices
- Unmatched devices
- Data sync status
- Connection settings
Enrolled & Unmatched Devices
You can view Enrolled Devices and Unmatched Devices by selecting the respective tabs within the connection dashboard. This will take you to the Hardware Table, with filters already applied to display relevant results.
From the hardware view, you can also filter devices by their enrollment status for a clearer overview.
Data import options
You can control which data fields should be synced from Google MDM by enabling or disabling them in the Data Import section of the connection.
- âś… By default, all fields are enabled.
- ⏰ Sync runs daily at 6:30 AM (Stockholm time).
- 🛠️ Disabling a field will exclude it from all future syncs.
Available data fields include:
-
Model – Device model description
-
Device OS – Operating system version
-
Last check-in – Last time the device synced with the MDM system
-
User full name – Full name of the assigned user from MDM
This data will appear on each device's detail page, depending on your active import settings.
Additional reports
If you’d like extended visibility, Velory also offers an MDM Insights Report, available upon request. This includes:
- Comparison between Asset and MDM data
- Enrollment statistics
- Data quality indicators
Contact support@velory.com if you’d like to enable this additional reporting feature.
How to disconnect
To disconnect Google MDM:

⚠️ When the integration is disconnected, all MDM data is removed from:
- The connection overview

If you wish to keep a record of the data, perform a CSV export before disconnecting.
