Each product category in your budget has a set renewal period. That period determines when you can replace your current device with a new one.
As your renewal date approaches, you’ll receive an email 30 days in advance letting you know it’s time to take action. You’ll need to complete this step in order to order a new device within that category.
What options will I have?
The available options depend on things like:
- How the device was purchased (e.g., one-off or leased)
- Who owns the device
- Whether it’s under a financing agreement
- Your company’s internal settings
But in general, there are three possible paths:
- Buy the device
- Return the device
- Keep the device

Go to your device details page in Velory and check:
- Contract type
- Distributor
💡 If the device is managed by a distributor other than Dustin – for example Atea, Elisa, or someone else – then the third option above applies, no matter what the contract type says.
