As an admin or purchase manager in Velory, you can easily place orders on behalf of others in the Velory store, ensuring that employees have the right devices to perform at their best.
- Admins have access to all users and spaces within the company.
- Purchase managers can only see the users they are assigned to.
You can switch between users when placing orders and also have the ability to place multiple orders at once, making the process even more efficient.
You can also place an order for yourself as an admin or purchase manager. However, there are a few important things to keep in mind when ordering for yourself with an admin role. For more details, check out this article.

Buy on behalf of - Users
To change who you're placing an order for, click the arrow next to your name where it says "Buy on behalf of."
- If you're ordering for a user, select "Users" to view a list of users in your company.
- Click on the desired user, and the store will automatically update to reflect their budget settings.
This ensures that the order aligns with the correct budget for the user.
The ordering process is the same as when you place an order for yourself. However, when checking out, once you click "Place order," the order is sent directly—there is no product request step when ordering on behalf of someone else as an admin and as a purchase manager.
Buy on behalf of - Spaces
To change who you're placing an order for, click the arrow next to your name where it says "Buy on behalf of."
- If you're ordering for a space, select "Spaces" to see a list of all spaces in your company.
- Choose the space you want to order for, and the store will automatically update to reflect that selection.
When ordering on behalf of a space, all products are paid for by the company, as spaces do not have assigned budgets.
Buy on behalf of - Company
To change who you're placing an order for, click the arrow next to your name where it says "Buy on behalf of."
- If you're ordering on behalf of your company, select "Company", and the store will automatically update to reflect this.
When ordering on behalf of your company, the device will initially be unassigned in your Velory account. However, you can update the assignment later if needed.
This is a great option if you need to place an order for an employee who hasn't started yet and is therefore not available in your Velory account.
Once the person has been added, the ordered products can be assigned to the new employee.
Order for multiple users at once
You can buy on behalf of multiple users or spaces in a single order. Simply add a device to the checkout, then switch to another user or space and continue adding devices as needed.
At checkout, you'll get a full overview of all added items and their assigned recipients. You’ll also see the total cost for the entire order and have the option to adjust or remove specific items if needed.
For each user or space, you can add a comment to the order if you need to provide any additional information. This option is available when selecting the delivery address.
