A budget defines the maximum amount a user can spend on equipment within specific categories, such as Phones or Computers. Each budget consists of one or more category-based budgets.
By default, employees can only purchase items within their allocated budget. However, some companies may allow requests that exceed the assigned budget. In such cases, how the overage amount is handled depends on the company’s internal policies. For more details, refer to your company’s digital policies or contact your company admin.

- Go to Your details in the navigation bar
- See your overview of Budget category/categories
Budget details
A budget includes several key components:
- Category: Products in this specific category will be assigned to this budget category.
- Allowance and available amount: Displays the remaining balance available in your budget for purchases and the amount available within this budget category.
- Quota: Determines purchase limits during the renewal period. For example, if the Phone category has a quota of 1, you can only purchase one phone per renewal period.
- Renews: Defines the renewal period, i.e., how often equipment can be renewed.
- Usage: Tracks your approved product requests and deducts them from your total allowance.
